pfpgen.pro is a 100% browser-based, anonymous profile picture generator. We do not have user accounts, we do not collect personal information, and we do not store your images anywhere. Everything runs on your device.

What We Collect

Almost nothing. Here is the complete list:

• Theme preference: If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved as pfpgen-theme in your browser’s localStorage. This stays on your device only. We never see it.
• Contact messages: If you email us directly, we will have your email address and whatever you wrote to us.

What we do NOT collect

• No name, email address, or phone number
• No uploaded images (all image processing runs locally in your browser)
• No profile pictures you create
• No account information (there are no accounts)
• No payment information (the tool is completely free)
• No IP address logs
• No browsing history or cross-site tracking

Uploaded Images Stay on Your Device

Everything in the editor runs entirely in your browser. When you upload a photo, logo, or sticker to use in your profile picture:

• The file is processed locally on your device
• It is never sent to our servers
• It is never stored, logged, or seen by us
• It disappears when you close or refresh the tab

Cookies and localStorage

We use one localStorage item:

• pfpgen-theme: Stores your light or dark mode preference. No expiry. Stored entirely on your device. We cannot read it remotely.

Analytics (Future)

We may add privacy-friendly, anonymised analytics in the future to understand which features are most useful. If we do, we will update this policy before any analytics go live, and we will only collect aggregated, anonymised data with no personal identifiers.

Advertising (Future)

We may show ads in the future to help keep the tool free. If we do:

• Ads will be minimal and relevant
• We will not share your personal data with advertisers (we do not have any personal data to share)
• No cross-site tracking

We will update this policy and add a consent banner before any ads go live.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since we collect essentially no personal data, there is very little to action. However, you have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you (answer: almost none)
• Ask us to delete anything we do hold
• Opt out of any cookies via your browser settings
